Former president Donald Trump officially announced his candidacy for 2024 presidential race in front of a 

crowd gathered on Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago, his waterfront estate (Palm Beach) in Florida. 

“In order to make America great and glorious again I am announcing tonight my candidacy for president of

the United States,” Trump said

Trump submitted paperwork establishing his desire of candidacy 2024 with the Federal Election Commission

Just few minutes before his speech. He discloses his desire to win again in 2024 many times repeating

baseless claims that the 2020 election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him.

Joe Biden, the recent President on the other side has not yet formally said that he will run for re-election in 2024. But after better Democrats’ than expected results in the midterms, Biden sent the strongest signal yet that he will seek a second term, saying: “Our intention is to run again.”
