Newsnomics AJAY ANGELINA reporter | K-pop sensation BTS' live concert movie will hit the big screens worldwide in February, said film distributor CJ CGV on Tuesday.
The 103-minute movie will beat the big screens of CGV theaters total in 110 nations and territories around the world in coming year 2023.
CGV, the leading multiplex franchise run by the local entertainment giant CJ ENM said, it is releasing the live recording of "BTS 'Yet to Come' as a movie on Feb 1.
"BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas" is the cluster of best moments from the band's free concert titled "Yet to
Come" held in Busan city on Oct 15 to support the city's bid to host the World Expo 2030.
CGV declared that 14 specialized cameras will be used for the filming crew in order to produce quality versions for premium theaters through CGV's premium high-tech including 4DX, Screen X and 4DX Screen with
advanced audio systems.
"We're delighted to be screening the global idol group BTS' concert via CGV," said Cho Jin-ho, the head of
content programming at CGV.
"We hope people could visit the theaters and feel the heat of the concert day through the large screens and
rich sounds."
