At least three officers including one sailor martyred in a navy helicopter during the training session in Gwadar, Pakistan on Monday September 4, 2023.

Pakistan Navy’s spokesperson said, “the helicopter crashed due to a possible technical malfunction during the flight.”

"As a result of the crash, two officers and one sailor of Pakistan Navy embraced martyrdom," the spokes person added.

Pakistan Navy has initiated an investigation to know the actual reason of the incident today.

Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq expressed deep grief on the loss of precious lives and prayed for the patience of the martyrs' families.

President Arif Alvi shared send condolences for the Martyr’s families in this time of grief and paid tribute to their services for the country.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti prayed for the martyred Navy personnel and salute their sacrifice during the fulfillment of duties.

Former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed sorrow over the deadly crash and solidarity with the martyred families.
