A fire broke out at Tower Palace in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, forcing 40 people to evacuate and one person to be rescued from the rooftop at approximately 4:56 pm on August 21st, 2024.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

Gangnam Fire authorities in Seoul arrived at the scene at 5:04 p.m., right eight minutes after the receiving the report, The fire authorities completely extinguished the fire within 15 minutes. 

It is said that 68 personnel and 21 vehicles were deployed.

Due to this fire, 40 residents evacuated on their own, and one person evacuated to the rooftop was rescued

by the fire department.

Fire authorities believe the fire started in the fan of one household in the Tower Palace.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and the extent of damage in detail.
