Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan, President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea (ROK), and President
Joseph R. Biden, Jr. of the United States reaffirm their trilateral partnership guided by shared values, driven by
innovation, and committed to shared prosperity and security to face the challenges of 21st century through
trilateral coordination in their second trilateral meeting this year.
The Leaders among Japan, the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the United States coincided to work in a trilateral format at all levels of government to implement their approaches to the free open Indo-Pacific that is
inclusive, resilient, and secure region of vital importance to global peace, security, and prosperity throughout
the Indo-Pacific and the world.
In a statement, the three leaders said, “We are delighted to launch an intergovernmental dialogue, underscoring the importance of trilateral cooperation in strengthening a norm based economic order to promote economic security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific and around the world.”
This cooperative work of ROK, US and Japan will deepen economic engagement on priority issues, including
the digital economy, resilient supply chains, clean energy, and other priorities geared toward promoting
sustainable and inclusive -economic growth cooperated through the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF).
The Leaders intend to share DPRK missile warning data in real time to improve each country’s ability to detect and assess the threat posed by incoming missiles, a major step for deterrence, peace and stability.
They emphasized that “we will stand in solidarity for the good of the region and the world, and to promote
and protect technological leadership.”
14일 캄보디아 프놈펜에서 열린 동아시아 정상회의에서 기시다 후미오 일본 총리, 윤석열 대한민국 대통령, 조셉 R. 바이든 미국 대통령이 3국 파트너십을 재확인했다. 올해 두 번째 3국 회의에서 3국 조정을 통해 21세기 도전에 대처하기 위해 공동의 가치에 의해, 혁신에 의해 주도되는 공동 번영과 안보를 약속했다.
일본, 대한민국(한국) 및 미국의 정상들은 모든 수준의 정부에서 3자 형식으로 협력해 중요 지역의 포괄적이고 탄력적이며 안전한 지역인 자유롭고 개방된 인도-태평양에 대한 접근 방식을 이행하기로 했다;인도 태평양과 전 세계의 세계 평화, 안보, 번영에 매우 중요한 지역.
3국 정상은 성명을 통해 “인도태평양과 전 세계의 경제 안보와 번영을 촉진하기 위해 규범 기반 경제 질서를 강화하는 데 있어 3국 협력의 중요성을 강조하면서 정부 간 대화를 시작하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다”고 말했다.
한미일 협력은 디지털 경제, 회복력 있는 공급망, 청정 에너지 및 지속 가능하고 포용적인 경제 성장을 촉진하기 위한 기타 우선순위를 포함한 우선순위 문제에 대한 경제 참여를 심화할 것이 있다고 인도-태평양 경제 프레임워크(IPEF)를 통해 협력했다.
3개국 정상은 북한 미사일 경보 데이터를 실시간으로 공유하여 억지, 평화 및 안정을 위한 주요 단계인 미사일이 도발하는 위협을 감지하고 평가하는 각국의 능력을 향상할 계획이다.
3국 정상은 "우리는 지역과 세계의 이익을 위해 연대하고 기술 리더십을 증진하고 보호할 것”이라고 강조했다.
