Newsnomics AJAY ANGELINA reporter | Tensions between Pakistan and India outbursts after Pakistan’s newly appointed army chief (on Nov 29) Gen. Asim Munir warned that any "misadventure" by the neighboring country will be met with "full might."

Pakistan Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited frontline troops in Rakhchikri Sector of Line of Control (LOC) on Saturday Dec 03, first interacted with officers and soldiers; appreciated their high morale, professional competence and combat readiness while performing their duties in challenging conditions.

COAS than warned that, “We have noticed highly irresponsible statements from Indian leadership on GB(Gilgit-Baltistan) and AJK (Azad Jammu and Kashmir) recently.”
“Let me make it categorically clear, Pakistan's armed forces are ever ready, not only to defend every inch of our motherland but to take the fight back to the enemy, if ever, war is imposed on us,” said Gen. Munir, a former head of the country's premier intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), according to the military statement. “Any misconception resulting into a misadventure will always be met with the full might of our armed forces backed by a resilient nation,” India, he went on to say, will never be able to achieve its "nefarious" designs.
The international community must ensure "justice and deliver what is promised to the Kashmiri people as per UN resolutions." COAS concluded.
COAS issued this fresh warning followed separate statements from Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Lt. Gen. Upendra Dwivedi, the general officer commanding-in-chief of the Indian army’s northern command, on the status of the disputed Kashmir valley and the Gilgit-Baltistan region near the China border.
