Pakistan government committed to protect the lives and prosperity of the minority communities as well as promised the absurdity of justice, assured that such incidents will not occur in the future again.
Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar by expressing deep sorrow over the violated act assured that there would be no compromise on the protection of the minorities in Pakistan.
"I am saddened by the tragedy based on hate. It is the responsibility of the government to ensure the safety of every citizen," he said.
"Our actions will speak louder than our speeches" he added.
Caretaker PM kakar promised that “they would become voice of the voiceless with tangible and meaningful support.”
PM Kakar personally visited Jaranwala town, an industrial district of Faisalabad to express the solidarity with the families of Christian community became victim of dramatic violence in which the multiple Churches and Christian houses were vandalized and then were ablaze by the mentally sick mob under false allegations of blasphemy.
PM Kakar by addressing the Christian community in Gujranwala regretted the violated act alluded to a pervasive issue in the society which had been experiencing extremism, radicalism and aggressive behavior, and manifested that such behavior did not belong to any religion, sect or group rather indicated an innate human behavior which spread like a cancerous disease harming the society.”
PM said, “We are the followers of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Founder of the nation, and it is also binding upon us under the Constitution, which encourages us to respond to such atrocities.”
He met the victims of violation and distributed cheques of 2 million to the families whose houses were vandalized and burned by the mob.
He also visited the Isa Nagri town nearby Jaranwala to investigate the situation and promised to reconstruct the damaged Churches that severely hurt the sentiments of all Christian community.
