Multiculturalism is a beauty of different cultures that presents the glimpse of multicultural societies living together on a united platform deals with the cultural diversity in which different cultural people retain, pass down, celebrate, and share their unique cultural ways of life, languages, art, traditions, and behaviors.
South Korea, in this regard is a unique and vibrant Cultural country that not only presents the Korean tradition but provide home to different nations and cultures from all over the world to grow up and gain respective values freely.
Consequently, M. Culture Impact festival 2023 has provided an opportunity to multiple nations to gather on unique platform together and share different values, different cultures, traditions, music, dance and valuable thinking.
M. Culture Impact Festival 2023 has been organized by the Anseong Multicultural community in collaboration with SaeSungnam Church at Park Elim restaurant located in Iljuk Myeon, Anseong City on 28 October 2023.
A total of nine countries including South Korea, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mongol, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Senegal that shares different cultures, religions, languages, traditions and living styles valueably participated in the festival.
The valuable guests were warmly welcomed by the organizers and enjoyed the solo, family, group photo session before entering the event hall.
The first section of the M. Culture Impact Festival 2023 began with the thanksgiving praise & songs by pastor. Park Hon Jae of Daedog Church Anseong. Prior to all Thanksgiving worship will be proceeded as usual with the opening prayer offered by Pastor. Jinwook Kim from Dong Heng Church followed by the representative prayer by director Jeon Sang-Cheon, the CEO of the Newsnomics.
Thanksgiving worship will be led by the Pastor. Eungsik Yoon from SaeSungnam Church who shared the word of God with the title “the mission of God”. Thanksgiving prayer was ended by the benediction of pastor. Shin Jeong-Cheol, the pastor of Aramdawn Church, Anseong city.
M. Culture Impact festival 2023 moved ahead with the second section that thrilled the stage with different traditional and cultural performances.
The second section of the festival started with the words of thanks by Angela Gulraiz from Pakistan followed and styles showcase the tradition of South Korea, Pakistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Senegal, and Mongol.
Then all foreign children belonged to multicultural families were invited on the stage to present their greetings in honor of South Korea, a land that provides second home of education and living to them. All the children were appreciated by the small gifts.
Luddi, a traditional folk dance of Punjab, was presented by the group of women from Pakistan. Luddi is a Punjabi folk dance popular in both eastern (India) and western (Pakistan) Punjab that can be performed in pairs or in groups by clicking their fingers and clapping hands, jumps and half-turns. Luddi is performed on weddings and sports to celebrate victory.
Park woo-mul, an author & Latin guide from South Korea, then made the evening colorful with his music skill and songs. He presented 1-Cotton field (CCR 목화밭), 2- El condor pasa and 3-wayfaring stranger (가스팰).
The other section of the festival was led by the Indian dance performer who presented the glimpse of Bhangra on traditional Punjabi song.
“Dhol Beats” dance performance was performed by men of Pakistan on the beat of Dhol that presents the tradition of Pakistan as well as India. Dhol is a large barrel-shaped drum majorly played on weddings and all joyful events to present the traditional folk music and dance performance.
The next section of the M. Culture Festival was led by the M. Culture Quiz in which the audience enjoyed the gifts by giving right answers of the prepared questions.
After that the cake ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of two years of Multicultural Volunteer services in Anseong and surrounded areas.
The valuable guests also enjoyed the buffet dinner that was prepared with famous Asian foods include Shahi meat Ball, Pakistani Tandoori Chicken, Indian Naan, Samosa, Kebab, Chinese Fried rice, Pasta, Arabic dates, Pakistan Chana Chaat, Russian Salad, Korean fruits & Bakery etc. to present the different cultures.
M. Culture Impact festival 2023 was finished by delivering the 2nd year anniversary gifts to all.
