Samsung Electronics has opened its first experiential flagship store 'Samsung BKC' in Mumbai, India on 23 January 2024.
While Samsung Electronics has been operating premium experience spaces in major cities such as New York and London, it opened its first experiential flagship store in India announced by the Samsung Electronics on Wednesday.
Samsung BKC was built at Jio World Plaza, located in Bandra Kurla Complex, a luxury commercial district in Mumbai that is India's largest luxury retail destination featuring the world's highest-end brands.
Samsung BKC is designed to just not only allow customers to experience and purchase premium products, but also to allow customers to experience Samsung products and brands that fit their lifestyle.
A total of 8 experience zones were prepared well to allow users to experience Samsung’s unique multi-device connection experience by linking with SmartThings; including a ‘game room’ equipped with a Neo QLED 8K TV and the latest gaming monitor, ▷ a ‘home office’ connected to a smart monitor, TV, and the latest Galaxy smartphone, tablet, and laptop ▷ Bespoke Family Hub refrigerator and oven with enhanced AI functions 'Connected Kitchen' composed of lights ▷'Private Cinema' based on 110-inch micro-LED.
In addition, personalized experiences are also possible, such as decorating customized product lines such as the frame, the freestyle, and Bespoke home appliances according to your tastes, and creating mobile product accessories.
Samsung Electronics also provided customers to conveniently continue their entire experience, from product information search to consultation, purchase, and service, regardless of whether it is online or offline. When a visitor scans the QR code in the store with a mobile phone, a guide map for each zone and detailed product information are provided in connection with Samsung.com.
In particular, Samsung Electronics is implementing a service for the first time in India, that allows the customers to pick up products purchased from Samsung.com at the store, and providing individual consulting from product purchase to service at the store to customers who make online reservations.
“We plan to introduce a large number of new Galaxy S24 series products that were recently unveiled, contributing to expanding sales in the Indian market”, said park Jong-beom, Vice President of Southwest Asia at Samsung Electronics.
“We also operate the ‘Color Me Program’, which depicts India’s largest festival ‘Holi’, in which powders and paints of various colors can be rubbed or sprinkled on each other, on an ultra-large LED curved screen measuring 11 meters across” Mr. Park notified.
Additionally, “We prepared Samsung BKC based on the deep understanding of the Indian market and customers that we have accumulated over the years.”
“We also plan to regularly run various events and workshops that reflect customers' interests by inviting experts such as chefs, artists, trainers, and gamer” he said.
Park added, “Samsung BKC is a place where people can enjoy and experience Samsung brands and products according to their tastes. It will become a landmark in Mumbai by establishing itself as a new concept store that provides personalized services linked offline.”
