The vibrant Jgannath Rath Yatra 2024 was organized by the ISKCON temple in Pocheon, the northeastern region of Gyeonggi province in South Korea on July 7,2024.
Ratha Yatra was celebrated in the city of Pocheon in South Korea with thousands of devotees, participated from far and wide areas of South Korea all walks of life to witness the wonderful procession, showcasing the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India.

Ms. Surabhi Kumar, spouse of the Ambassador Amit Kumar of Indian embassy in the Republic of Korea and SS Cons joined the event.

ISKCON Korea is giving thanks to all volunteers, devotees, guests and well-wishers for their great participation with cooking, decorating the temple room, cleaning, manning the book table/shop, kirtaners, decorating the chariot, pujari's (a man paying homage, veneration or devotion to a deity), cooks and Donner to make this festival successful.
Rath Yatra is the world-famous Hindu chariot festival that is counted among the one of India’s biggest and oldest festivals with celebrations in praise of Lord Jagannath who happens to be an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Every year, the festival attracts millions of devotees follows the traditional Oriya calendar (shows Hindu festivals date).
