Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Embassy of India located in Seoul signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Seongdong Foundation of Arts and Culture to further foster cultural and artistic exchanges between India and the Republic of Korea (SDFAC) on September 2, 2024.
The Seongdong Foundation of Art & Culture (SDFAC) is a non-profit organization established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) to promote cultural and artistic development in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
The Indian Cultural Center in Korea is the cultural department of the Indian Embassy in the Republic of Korea.
ICCR is continually promoting regular classes in yoga, meditation, kathak, Bollywood dance, and Hindi, and also host a variety of cultural events related to India.
Not only that, ICCR in the Republic of Korea is going to host the free online classes for Henna Design, Puppet Making, Rangoli and Madhubani Painting in coordination with Roots2Roots(R2R), an NGO.
The Puppet Making and Madhubani Painting classes are scheduled on 22nd September, and 3rd,10th,17th
October 2024.
However, the Henna design and Rangoli classes are going to held on 1st,8th,15th and 22 October,2024.
India is promoting their culture into South Korea that is getting popularity among the Koreans.
